Taken from our Portlock project, we loved the sophistication this bedroom had. We styled this nightstand with linen stacked books (that came as a set of 3) and layered it with bleached wood bead garland. We typically style night stands with three different pieces. So our last piece is this stunning glass vase! Its curved design adds a unique and modern twist to any space. We absolutely love anthuriums and always use them when prepping a home for a photoshoot!
Another spot from our Portlock listing. Shelf styling can be tricky, but very fun! Because you are working with so much space, you have so much options as how to style it. One of our favorite decor items are vases. We like to get a variety of vases. On the top shelf is a 3 set clay vase . This set has an off-white matte finish that looks great with the dark wood shelving. The other vase set is a ceramic vase set that also comes in a set of 3. But we used the smallest and medium size vase to style.
We have a true passion for mixing and matching textures, sizes, and heights when it comes to our styling approach. On the top shelf, we opted for a distressed ceramic vase featuring a stunning monstera leaf, creating a captivating focal point for that entire section. Just below, we introduced a set of three light wood arches, strategically placed to add both depth and a splash of color. And when it comes to adding visual interest and dimension, we love incorporating books into our designs. For our home stagings, we've discovered these amazing faux hollow books that look unbelievably real! It's our little secret, especially when it comes to wowing potential buyers. Shhh... they'll never know!
